Active Certified Teacher and Classified Staff Membership Information 


DUES ARE PRO-RATED AFTER OCTOBER 31ST.

  • KAPE is available to all certified and classified employees of a Kentucky public or private school. 
  • All professional memberships (certified and classified) include $2 million in professional liability insurance, legal services, and representation locally and in Frankfort.  Professional memberships also include access to the variety of discounted rates afforded to KAPE members.  

All Membership is subject to approval.

DUES SCHEDULES FOR THE MEMBERSHIPS ARE AS FOLLOWS:

    • Individual:

    • $200/yr - Check - Make check payable to KAPE and mail to our Lexington address.
    • $200/yr - Credit Card - If paying by credit card, please call the office at 606-682-0512 to process the transaction.
    • $205/yr - Automatic Bank Withdrawal -12 monthly installments.  Requires application, bank authorization form, and voided check. ($5 Processing Fee is charged by your bank for withdrawals.)  Please call the office at 606-682-0512 to complete this transaction.

    • $200/yr APA (Payroll Deduction)  This option is not available in all districts. See below for availability.


    PLEASE NOTE

    Membership fees are prorated from November 1 to May 1 of every academic year.  Before submitting payment tender online, call our office at 606-682-0512 to discuss your options for payment of membership.


    Married:         

    • $350/yr - Check - Make check payable to KAPE and mail to our Lexington address.
    • $350/yr - Credit Card - If paying by credit card, please call the office at 606-682-0512 to process the transaction.

    NOTE:  Married members receive a discounted rate  ($175.00/yr each).  However, each member must enroll individually.
